Let’s get serious a moment. I have some questions and some suggestions. And I am very curious.
First, are you registered to vote? If not, why not? During the last presidential election more eligible voters didn’t vote than voted for either candidate. If just a fraction of those had voted for Kamala Harris, we would not be going through what we are now. Democracy would not be in mortal danger. So, if you are not registered, get off your sorry ass and register. It is incredibly easy and quick. It won’t hurt, I promise. If you don’t know how, check HERE.
Okay, but let’s assume you are registered. Good. That’s the first step. But as you probably know, this administration is doing everything in its power to stop you from voting. Well at least unless you are a white male...

We already know the list. Corrupt, dishonest to a degree that has broken every fact checking system built to track it, racist in ways he no longer bothers to hide, misogynistic in both word and deed, and uneducated in the sense that matters most, unable or unwilling to grasp the basic workings of the government he runs. All of that is documented so thoroughly that arguing it is barely a debate anymore. But there is one more word that belongs on the list, and it explains almost everything else about him. Donald Trump is a coward.
Start with the plainest version of that word. Physical cowardice. During Vietnam he received five draft deferments, four for school and one for a bone spur diagnosis that conveniently vanished once the war ended. He built a persona of toughness on television and on the campaign trail, mocked the service of men who actually went, and questioned whether prisoners...

There's a difference between a country that has racists in it and a country where racists feel comfortable saying so out loud. Every country has the former. What Donald Trump has done, across two terms and the years in between, is turn a segment of America into the latter. He didn't invent American racism. It was always there, sometimes quiet, sometimes not. What he did was make it socially acceptable again, at the highest level of government, and that permission slip has trickled all the way down.
Start with the first term, because the pattern was set early. Trump's political career in the Republican mainstream was built on birtherism, the racist conspiracy theory that Barack Obama wasn't really American. That wasn't a fringe position he stumbled into. He pushed it for years, gave it oxygen on national television, and never fully disavowed it even after Obama produced his birth certificate. It taught him something useful: that a large number of people would follow him into openly racialized territory...

Hi Donnie. How’s it going? Oh, maybe I shouldn’t ask that question as it is pretty obvious to everyone how poorly things are going. I mean come on. Everyone can see it. The ultra rich are taking more and more of available wealth, leaving little or nothing for everyone else. And that sucks. I mean we all know you don’t care about people suffering, but just something to consider is how badly this reflects on you.
Here is something to consider though. We all know how important people thinking you are something special is to you. We know, all of us, just how big your ego is. We know you want people to think you are a master at making deals and are so smart that you know more than the scientists know, more than the Generals know, hell, even more about Catholicism than the Pope. But we also know, again, all of us, that you are none of these things.

The human experience of spirituality is as diverse as humanity itself. Across continents and centuries, people have developed countless ways of understanding the sacred, the divine, and the meaning of existence. From the ancient temples of Hinduism to the soaring cathedrals of Christianity, from the quiet meditation halls of Buddhism to the vibrant synagogues of Judaism, from the beautiful mosques of Islam to the sacred circles of indigenous traditions, and everywhere in between, the world offers a stunning tapestry of belief systems. Each has its own rituals, teachings, and pathways to understanding life’s deepest questions.
